At least 12 people were injured as a bus crashed into a house in the New York's borough of Queens late on Saturday, media reported.

MOSCOW (Sputnik) — The bus collided with a car moving in the opposite direction before hitting two other vehicles parked in front of a nearby house and crashing into the building, NBC New York said, citing a spokesman for the Metropolitan Transportation Authority.

The injured were hospitalized with mostly minor injuries, according to medical officials.

The accident is being investigated.
