Czech player Lukas Rosol reached the second round of the Kremlin Cup on Monday after scraping a win against Daniel Gimeno-Traver of Spain.
World No. 84 Rosol's nerves were put to the test in two tie-breaks before he emerged the winner 7-6(9), 7-6(2) against a player ranked 24 places higher.
In the next round, Rosol will face the winner of the match between Bjorn Phau and sixth seed Denis Istomin.
