First Day of Russia’s Eastern Economic Forum Ends With 32 Contracts Signed

A total of 32 contracts were sealed at the first day of Eastern Economic Forum held in Russia’s Vladivostok, according to the organizers' data obtained by Sputnik Thursday.

VLADIVOSTOK (Sputnik), Alexander Mosesov – The contracts included memorandums on cooperation, agreements between the Russian governmental and federal agencies such as the Federal Agency for Tourism and the Federal Forestry Agency with business organizations from Russia and the countries of the Asia-Pacific region.

The first Eastern Economic Forum is being held on September 3-5 in the Russian city of Vladivostok, located on the Pacific Ocean, as a platform for dialogue between international investors, the Russian government and countries of the Asia-Pacific Region.

In total, some 72 agreements of intent and memorandums of cooperation are expected to be signed during the three-day-event.
