She is one of the guests at the opening of The Russian Eastern Economic Forum Wednesday.

Pamela Anderson intends to discuss the issue of conservation of whales with Vladimir Putin. She also intends to speak with the Chinese leaders about how to “deal with environmental issues, human rights and animals,” said Anderson.

The actress may pay a visit to reserves and national parks of the Primorsky Territory. She also intends to hold a charity auction in Vladivostok, the proceeds from which will be used to fight against poaching, illegal fishing and trade in animals via the Internet. The charity money will also be passed on to the Far East reserves.

Pamela Anderson Asks Vladimir Putin Out to Dinner
Three months ago, Pamela Anderson wrote a letter to Russian President Vladimir Putin asking him to stop the transportation of 1.7 thousand tons of meat fin whales through the Northern Sea Route.

As the cargo ship loaded with endangered, Icelandic Fin whale meat was traveling en route to Japan, Pamela wanted Russia to stop the ship from reaching its destination.

In response to that letter she received a justified refusal and an invitation by the Minister of Natural Resources and Environment Minister, Sergei Donskoi, to join in the Eastern Economic Forum in Vladivostok.

The press service of the Ministry of Environment made an announcement of the meeting between Pamela Anderson with Sergei Donskoi in the capital of Primorye on 3 September.

Whether Anderson will meet with Vladimir Putin, is still unknown.
