Live Updates: Number of COVID-19 Cases in India Rises by 36,083

The global death toll from the pandemic has almost reached 4.35 million, while the total case count has surpassed 206.6 million, according to Johns Hopkins University.
The US remains the most affected by the pandemic, as it has registered over 36.6 million cases so far and a death toll of 621,000. It is followed by India, which is gradually recovering from a major outbreak this spring, and where 32 million cases and well over 430,000 deaths have been confirmed. At the same time, Brazil has registered over 20.3 million cases and the second-highest death toll in the world, at around 568,000 fatalities.
