Serbia's Novak Djokovic outplayed Scotland's Andy Murray earining his record-equalling 6th Austarlian Open and his 11th Grand Slam title.

MOSCOW (Sputnik) — World No. 1 Novak Djokovic has beaten No. 2-ranked Andy Murray in the Australian Open final on Sunday claiming his sixth title.

​The Serb won the match by a score of 6-1, 7-5, 7-6 and is now 22-9 lifetime against Britain’s Murray who lost his fifth Australian Open final.

​Djokovic has 11 grand slam titles. He previously won the Australian Open in 2008, 2011, 2012, 2013, and 2015.
