Basic submission rules
The body of the post
— format and divide the text into paragraphs
— provide a title (and subheadings, if any)
— mark the words/phrases to be used as hyperlinks (if any) and provide the links as URLs
Main image
— the site administration may use the photos provided by the blog’s author if he/she is the copyright holder, or the photo is in the public domain
— the site administration may choose the main image at its discretion
— the photos provided must comply with technical and size requirements (a.JPEG image min. 1000 pixels in width)
Links and media embeds
The blogger may suggest the following embeddable media in the text of the post:
— links to other articles on the Sputniknews.com website
— embedded Twitter, Facebook, Instagram posts, or YouTube videos
In this case, the blogger should provide the links or post/video URLs and mark the places for proposed embeds.
The final layout is chosen by the site administration at its discretion.
Content
The text of the blog must not contain:
— offensive language
— Incitement to hatred or racial, ethnic, gender, religious or social discrimination
— extremist or terrorist ideas, encouragement of illegal conduct
Other requirements
The site administration reserves the right to delete a blog post without notifying the author.
