MOSCOW, April 29 (RIA Novosti) - Russia's foreign debt stood at $43.99 billion as of April 1, 2008, down 2% against $44.88 billion on January 1, 2008, the country's economics ministry said on Tuesday.
Russia paid off around $869 million worth of foreign debt in the first three months of 2008.
