MOSCOW, April 29 (RIA Novosti) - Russia's leading consumer services company Sistema said on Tuesday its net profit calculated to Russian Accounting Standards grew 45.5% year-on-year in 2007 to 170.24 billion rubles ($7.2 billion).
Sistema incorporates telecom, high technology, insurance, real estate, retail trade, mass media, banking and venture companies. In addition, the company is developing in the spheres of tourism, radio technology, pharmaceuticals and bio technology.
The company's main shareholder is Vladimir Yevtushenkov (62.1%), who is also its founder and board chairman.
The company's shares are floated on the London Stock Exchange and Russia's MICEX and RTS bourses.
