MOSCOW, August 25 (RIA Novosti) - Chechen authorities are fulfilling all their obligations to the residents of Borozdinovskaya, a village where 11 residents disappeared during a special operation in June, Chechen Prime Minister Sergei Abramov said Thursday.

"We have fulfilled our obligations and resolved the compensation issue," Abramov said at a press conference. Gas and water pipes are being built in the village, he said.

After the special operation during which several houses were burned down, many residents fled and set up a campsite on the border with Dagestan, demanding that the missing people be found and residents compensated.

When asked about the reconstruction of Chechnya, Abramov said there were still numerous problems, including the billions of rubles needed to complete construction projects that have been delayed.

After the Moscow-based state company created to oversee the reconstruction of Chechnya is handed over to the Chechen government, local authorities will take full responsibility for the process, Abramov said. Chechen authorities are also ready to deal with the rebuilding tasks assigned to them, he said.

As part of the rebuilding process, 100 new schools will be built, adding to the 446 schools currently in operation.
