PM Mishustin Announces Candidates for New Russian Government

The structure of the new cabinet was adopted by Russian President Vladimir Putin earlier in the day and includes 21 ministries, one vice PM and nine deputy PMs.
Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin announced his ministerial candidates for the new government on Saturday.
The list includes:
Acting Minister of Industry and Trade Denis Manturov was postulated to be the first deputy prime minister.
Acting Deputy PM Alexander Novak was proposed as deputy prime minister for fuel, energy complex and the economic bloc.
Acting Minister of Agriculture Dmitry Patrushev as the new deputy prime minister in charge of agriculture, ecology and the agroindustrial complex.
Acting Minister of Transport Vitaly Savelyev as the new deputy prime minister for transport and logistics.
Yuri Trutnev was proposed to be reappointed as the deputy prime minister and presidential envoy to the Far Eastern Federal District.
Dmitry Chernyshenko was proposed for the post of deputy prime minister to oversee IT, communications, tourism, sports, culture, media and youth policy.
Likewise, Dmitry Grigorenko was proposed to be reappointed as chief of the Government Staff.

There were also several ministerial candidates:
Kemerovo Region Governor Sergey Tsivilev was proposed as the new energy minister
Kaliningrad Region Governor Anton Alikhanov was postulated as the new minister of industry and trade
Anton Siluanov was proposed for the post of finance minister
Anton Kotyakov was proposed for the post of minister of labor and social protection
Mikhail Murashko was proposed for the post of minister of health
Olga Lyubimova was proposed to be reappointed as minister of culture
Khabarovsk region Governor Mikhail Degtyarev was proposed as minister of sports
The final decision about the ministerial roles will be made later after consultations with President Putin, the press service for the government stressed.
